ESKA Kata Squad's massive success at Wado-kai England Open

The ESKA Kata Squad managed a whopping 9 medals at the Wado-kai England Open Kata Championships held on 25th & 26th June 2005 at the Rivermead Leisure Complex in Reading.

Here are the results:-

Male Senior Shotokan Kata

1st - John Gillespie (Hatfield)
3rd - Paul Grimsey (Hitchin)

Female Senior Shotokan Kata

3rd - Laura Gillespie (no relation to John)

Shotokan Team Kata

2nd - Jessica Croucher, Melissa Wiseman, Mercedes Samavi
3rd - Laura Gillespie, Conor Green, Jonathan Paley
3rd - Daniel Croucher, Charlie Fisher, Haig Leonard

Female Individual Shotokan Kata 16yrs & over, 4th Kyu & below

1st - Jessica Croucher
2nd - Melissa Wiseman

Female Individual Shotokan Kata 11-15yrs, 4th Kyu & below

3rd - Mercedes Samavi
