  Black Belt Success

On the 14th of October Hitchin and Birchwood Karate Clubs joined together to offer a special 2 hour course (11.00 to 13.00). This was open to all students of any grade and aimed to give everyone the chance to practice some of the more exciting aspects of karate. It was so successful that we are considering another one possibly at the Hitchin Club.

Free "have a go" lesson

At just after 12.00 noon we offered a free 30 minute lesson to any parent or friend who would like to "have a go". This lesson was held in a separate room.

Fun lesson for karate kids (5/6 year olds)

For the 5 and 6 year olds we thought that 1 hour would be enough so their lesson started at 12 noon. They had their own instructors who organised a karate fun lesson, with games, prizes and lots of activities.

Tea and sandwiches included

Many of you joined us at the old bar after training for soft drinks, tea and sandwiches, all included in the entry fee.
